Membership

Q1: Is corporate membership acceptable?
A: For Japanese companies only. We are extremely sorry to be unable to accept all countries except for Japan at this time. However, we hope to offer corporate membership to all companies and countries in the near future.
Q2: I forgot my password.
A: Click "Forgot password?" on login page, and we will send you a temporary password. Please use this temporary password to login to your account.
Q3: After I register, can I modify my email address?
A: Yes, you can. Email address can be modified on "Member's Account" page. If you want to do it now, click here.
Q4: I am a personal member. May I switch to a corporate membership?
A: Sorry, it is available for Japanese companies only. Please refer to the Question 1.
Q5: If I cancel my membership, how do you handle my personal information and technical data?
A: Immediately after your cancellation, we will delete all of your personal information. Therefore, no one will be able to access any data.

Digitizing

Q1: I cannot install "RODEM" on my computer.
A: We recommend you to check our hardware requirements for RODEM on the instruction manual of RODEM. If you still cannot install RODEM after checking, please contact us.
Q2: Can I request to extract SPICE parameter of a file digitized by myself without the use of RODEM?
A: No, you cannot. We accept the files digitized by RODEM only.
Q3: May we request SMS to digitize the image data for us?
A: Yes, you may. However, if you need to do that, please contact us directly.

Payment

Q1: What is PayPal?
A: PayPal is the most popular online-payment service in the world. If you need more information about PayPal, please click here.
Q2: Let me know what brands of credit card I can use on this website.
A: VISA, JCB, AMEX and MASTER are available on PayPal page.
Q3: May I use a bank transfer?
A: Yes, you may. Please choose "Other payment method", and we will send you an email which explains how to pay by bank transfer. You will be able to download the SPICE parameters after we confirm your payment. In this case, please be reminded that it may take longer for you to receive SPICE parameters. If you need more information, click here.
Q4: If we request the billings and receipts, could you issue them?
A: We use emails as a substitute for formal documents. However, if you cannot accept an email format, we will issue a formal document. In such a case, please contact us.

How to Use Member's Pages

Q1: Can I verify my order status or histories?
A: Yes, you can. On your own membership page, you can manage your modeling data. If you need further information about SMS membership capabilities, please click here.
Q2: Do you set storage limitation for my personal modeling data?
A: No, we have no limitation of modeling data for members. But after cancellation of membership, all of the data will be deleted.
Q3: Why do you need PDFs of device datasheets?
A: If your digitized files have some errors, we will use uploaded PDFs of device datasheets as verification of digitizing error.
Q4: If I am not satisfied with the modeling report, may I decline to purchase the parameters?
A: Yes. You may choose not to purchase SPICE parameters. Our modeling report is carefully verified by professional modeling engineers. If the extracted SPICE parameters are of low accuracy, we will analyze the root cause and inform you of them in the modeling report.
Q5: Are the languages used on SMS in English and Japanese only?
A: At this moment, yes. However, we are planning other languages of this service in the future.
Q6: Do you have instructions on how to use member's page?
A: Yes, we do. Please download it by clicking the "Instructions" button in the lower left-hand corner of the member's page. Instructions are displayed in both English and Japanese.

Others

Q1: How soon can I receive the parameter lists after it is ordered?
A: It takes between 1~3 business days. It depends on the volume of orders.
Q2: How do you extract SPICE parameters?
A: This extraction service uses an automatic modeling tool called, "MoDeCH-Extractor", established by MoDeCH Inc.
"MoDeCH-Extractor" has been developed by the professional modeling consultants of MoDeCH Inc., and many Japanese companies has already
adopted it. The reason why SMS's modeling accuracy is high is because modeling consultants within MoDeCH Inc. re-examine the results meticulously after extraction. SMS promises to provide modeling results of high precision for all customers.
Q3: Please tell me how I can cancel my membership.
A: Click the button "Account" located in upper right-hand corner of the member's page, and you will be directed to the member's account page.
The "Cancellation membership" button is located at the bottom. After cancellation, all of your modeling information will be deleted. We would like you to consider about cancellation because it is impossible to restore them once you have canceled.
