Digitizing

When we extract SPICE parameters, we need numerical data which specify characteristics of semiconductor devices. Our Digitizing tool, RODEM, helps you to generate these numerical data more easily and quickly.



∗Recommended Operating Conditions
OS : Windows XP, Windows 7
.NET Framework 2.0 or higher is required for execution environment.
(.NET Framework 2.0 is included in RODEM Installer.)

∗Installation
RODEM is a free software for all of SMS members. The RODEM Installer will instruct you on how to install itself on your computer.

«How to use RODEM»
(1)Load graphs of the published datasheets into RODEM.

(2)Enter values specified on the graph.

(3)Mark some points on the graph line using your mouse.
(A maximum of 9 points per line for each operation.)

*RODEM has "Semiautomatic Digitizing" function. This function may be easier for some users.
After completing steps (1)~(3), click the "Trace" button, and RODEM will automatically generate the numerical data. It takes a few seconds.

*The output value is in a text data format, and its file extension is ".rdm".
